Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Full-Time Industrial Electrician to join our Services & Projects Team at our Curra Office based out of Gympie QLD. The successful candidate will join our established team where you will provide breakdown support and planned maintenance on a wide range of electrical and instrumentation equipment, and join our projects team on interesting and complex projects sure to expand your skills and technical knowledge. 

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in industrial environments.
• Perform routine inspections to identify and resolve electrical issues proactively.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
• Test, calibrate and verify instrumentation equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the project teams on local and remote projects.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Document work activities, including repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks and comply to all safety and regulatory documentation.
• Provide shift coverage support for planned maintenance and critical breakdowns.

Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology
• QLD Electrical Licence
• White Card
• Valid Open Drivers Licence
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician.
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety standards.

Additional Skills (Preferred but not required):

• Instrumentation Experience or Qualification highly regarded
• Hazardous Areas Certification
• EWP 
• Confined Space
• Working At Heights
