Australia Wide Personnel are seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our client, who are the Australasian distributors and service providers for world leading manufacturers of equipment for use in Airport, Rail and Seaports operations. They specialise in providing unique and tailored equipment solutions to meet their customer’s needs. The position requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Support fixed and mobile equipment used in the aviation, rail & seaport sectors
- Fault finding & repairs of electrical equipment consisting of PLC and CANbus technology
- Experience in equipment installation, commissioning and the associated documentation
- Building trusting relationships with customers by demonstrating a high level of professionalism and solid problem solving & organisational skills
- Strictly following all required safety and security procedures
To be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following:
- An Electrical trade qualification (essential), with a strong mechanical aptitude
- Proven experience in a similar technical service role
- Proven experience with PLC’s, high voltage and hydraulic equipment
- A team player with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with a high attention to detail
- Flexibility to travel, work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required
Hours and Rates
Day shift hours, 7am - 3pm (with room for flexibility)
$120k + super + bonus scheme + service vehicle + phone etc.
You must be either an Australian Citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident to be eligible to apply for this position. You must also be willing to pass a pre-employment medical and police check.
