Job Summary: The Industrial Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production environment. This position involves coordinating and supervising activities to meet production targets and increase efficiency, maintain quality standards, and ensure the safety of the production team while reducing waste and cost.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Coordination:
- Coordinate and oversee production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Monitor production schedules, adjust as needed, and ensure on-time delivery of products.
Quality Control:
- Maintain quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and meet quality standards.
- Address any quality issues promptly and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
Team Supervision:
- Supervise and provide guidance to production floor staff, including production operators, blend room operators and warehouse staff.
- Ensure that team members adhere to safety protocols and best practices.
Data Analysis
- Utilise data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement.
Resource Management:
- Manage resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimise production efficiency.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs of machinery as necessary.
Safety Compliance:
- Enforce safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and promote a safe work environment.
- Conduct safety training and regular safety inspections.
Reporting:
- Enforce safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and promote a safe work environment.

- Maintain accurate production data records, including output, quality, and other relevant metrics.
- Provide regular reports to management on production performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience of +3 years in a production environment, with a focus on coordination, supervision and maintenance.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Familiarity with production software, including V5 traceability and dotWMS.
