Working in partnership with the NSW Government, the Parklife Metro consortium is working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.
Comprising, Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens and Webuild, the private sector partners are looking to build their metro rail expertise to deliver this city-shaping project, which will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership model and will provide a major economic stimulus for Western Sydney.

The Industry Participation / Social Procurement Advisor role is a critical role to seek opportunities, manage initiatives and drive change to deliver industry capability and inclusion strategies and benefits to support disadvantaged and enable the project to meet its Social Procurement and Infrastructure Skills Legacy Program targets including addressing diversity and inclusion objectives.

This role can be based in Sydney CBD (near Musuem station) or Orchard Hills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and enable Social Procurement connections, identify and evaluate opportunities for social benefit suppliers to be engaged.
- Develop, implement and review the process for engaging social benefit suppliers, working with procurement team and social business industry bodies such as Social Traders to identify opportunities.
- Build visibility and profile within the Western Sydney business community and maximise opportunities for local businesses and social benefit providers.
- Identify and promote employment opportunities with a focus on local sustainable job outcomes for disadvantaged groups.
- Support subcontractors and suppliers to engage people from disadvantaged groups and social benefit suppliers to assist in meeting project targets and commitments.
- Promote employment opportunities with local schools, TAFE and other learning institutions.
- Support the implementation of activities that inspire future talent and provide tangible benefits to support the engagement of young people such as STEM programs.
- Develop initiatives that support women in leadership and women in non-traditional trades.
- Manage JV Partners and Subcontractors engagement and training on Social Procurement and Industry Participation matters to ensure targets achievement.
- Continuous improvement of workforce development and Social Procurement management plans to ensure the strategy will assist in meeting our committed targets.
- Production of Monthly reports for Parklife Metro JV and Sydney Metro.
- Monitor, review and report on progress towards targets, key performance indicators and develop a Social Return on Investment Plan.
- Perform all duties in accordance with Salini policies, process, systems and procedures.
- Cert IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Business, Commerce, Community Engagement or Social Impact / Policy
- Demonstrated high-level communication skills, including the ability to effectively liaise with community.
- Experience in implementing Social Procurement programs.
- Demonstrated capability to engage with stakeholders and providers that support the delivery of local and Aboriginal Industry Participation.
- The initiative to work autonomously and collaboratively with on-site construction teams to secure beneficial training outcomes that support our construction programs.
