Indie Education is seeking a ICT Support Officer specialising in Apple products to join the ICT team at their Head Office based in Wodonga.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to make a significant contribution who is looking to progress their career in a growing non-for-profit organisation, with opportunity for future promotion within the organisation. The role will report to ICT Manager.
The ICT Support Officer’s key responsibility is to support, build, deploy Apple products within the company for use by staff and students. A significant part of this role is to ensure that students have the tools available to ensure learning at the highest standard.
Workplace taskings & Key responsibilities:
- Management of all Company Apple devices,
- Provide guidance and training staff (Teachers and Admin) to enable integration of devices into training of students,
- able to communicate technical information in a way that the general user can understand,
- Build, manage and support devices,
- Manage device updating and app deployment,
- Manage device security,
- Manage device auditing,
- Maintain asset management,
- Occasional on-site repairs / support,
- Service Admin, updating tickets, ordering parts,
- maintaining accurate records of service work undertaken and following up as required,
- attention to detail, an ability to keep things in order and follow procedures,
- Support the ICT team.
Skills and Experience:
- High-level organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and autonomously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing needs
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience working at a school (advantageous but not essential).
Experience working with Apple products is desirable, however applications will also be considered from candidates who do not have experience or Apple qualifications but can demonstrate an ability to address the workplace taskings and key responsibilities.

Remuneration:
- $66,941 per annum plus super
