This part time role is to support our clients in the Sydney Northen Beaches and North Shore areas.
Some travel within Greater Sydney will be required for training and other company events.
The role is envisaged to be 2-3 days a week.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Tech Savvy candidate to work with our educational customers, supporting teachers, students and staff with their day-to-day IT support requirements as well as supporting and maintaining the broader schools technology.
Training is provided, and there are significant learning opportunities for those who are keen to learn and grow.
The role would require a NSW drivers license and access to a car. Have or be willing to obtain a NSW Working with Children Check.
Key duties will include:
- Liaising with the schools regarding IT support requests and projects.
- Acting as first point of contact for staff and student IT enquiries
- Managing and actioning IT support requests logged through a ticketing system
- Maintaining on site IT systems and documentation
- General troubleshooting and other tasks as delegated
- Completing scheduled maintenance & proactive tasks
About You:
- Currently studying, recently graduated, previous experience, or looking for an entry level IT role.
- Passion for technology
- Enjoys problem solving and working towards a resolution
- Has a basic understanding of IT, or ability to learn quickly and demonstrate skills
- Keen to build lasting relationships with key members at the school
- Highly organised and ability to effectively prioritise skills
- Enjoys engaging with customers and providing excellent service
- Great communication skills, both written and verbally
