Information Communications Technology Manager

Ocwen Energy Pty Ltd trading as Lowes Petroleum Service is a joint venture between Lowes and BP Australia Pty Ltd. We have expanded our fleet and our distribution network throughout Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria and Tasmania. We have a broad base of customers from the primary producer, industrial, mining, transport and retail sectors. Our vision is to be “To be the SOLUTION to Regional Australia’s Fuel, Energy & Lubricant Requirements”.

We are looking for a Information Communications Technology Manager to lead our IT Team of four and manage our network of ICT subcontractors and suppliers. 

You will be responsible for:

• IT systems Infrastructure of the Companies
  • Disaster Recovery
  • Data Security and Cyber Protection
  • Cyber Awareness Training
  • Management of the IT Support Function
  • Hardware/Software Implementation, Maintenance and Replacement
  • Telephone & Mobile Communications 
• Ensure all software applications are fully licensed and supported
  • Support Contracts are maintained
  • Software updates are applied when required
• Responsible for ongoing Documentation of the IT System architecture, critical processes and relationships
• Ensure Company managers receive appropriate training and support
• Liaise effectively with relevant Staff and IT Vendors on all IT issues
• Responsible for development and implementation of the IT Strategy
• Ensure Company compliance with all statutory regulations and laws 

Ideally you will have: 

• 5 years' experience in a similar sized environment
  • Petroleum industry experience is not a pre-requisite
• Tertiary qualification
• Up to date technical knowledge of networking, cyber security, hardware and operating systems
• Sound knowledge of ERPs (Sage experience an advantage) 
• Significant experience in network maintenance
• Excellent Project Management skills
• Ability to analyse data and make astute recommendations
