About the Team
The Procurement and Corporate Services Branch provides vital support through corporate, procurement, and property services. Our Corporate Services Section oversees corporate operations, Information Management, and shared services, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
About the Role
The APS5 Information Management Officer will perform various tasks related to information, records, and knowledge management. This position requires independent decision-making, workflow organisation, and may involve team leadership responsibilities, including setting priorities and allocating work.
- Apply and disseminate knowledge of legislative obligations in records and Information Management.
- Assist in developing and maintaining policies and processes for compliance.
- Provide specialist advice and recommendations on Information Management to the organisation.
- Monitor and oversee Information Management activities.
- Provide training and support on the records management system.
- Participate in improvement projects and other Information Management activities.
About you
To thrive in this role, you need:
- Extensive experience in digital sentencing complex records.
- Excellent customer service skills in records management, including naming conventions assistance.
- Proficient with electronic documents and records management systems.
- Experience with SharePoint and RecordPoint.
- Familiarity with Commonwealth record-keeping frameworks.
- Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
