Join our dynamic team at Queensland Police Service! We're seeking a skilled IT professional to analyse, design, and implement cutting-edge technology solutions for our Intelligence Capability. As a key player, you'll coordinate technical designs for ICT systems, solve complex technical issues, and ensure the continuous functionality of our IT set-up.
You will contribute to the team by researching new software products and undertaking process automation using Power Automate. You will also be an expert in maintaining and keeping our SharePoint site up to date and be willing to accept adhoc responsibilities, when required. The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Analyse, design, develop, configure and implement Information Technology systems and provide solutions to complex technical problems relevant to the Intelligence Capability.
- Maintain Joint Intelligence Group's (JIG) functionality and ongoing maintenance of systems and processes.
- Provide comprehensive reports (including maintenance and functionality) and periodic documentation of computer systems to management.
- Examine performance of applications and report on means of improving production processing applications (including having software version controls and managing access levels).
- Research opportunities for new software products relevant to the applications environment.
- Deliver Automation of certain processes on a requirement basis (based on Powerautomate)
- Develop and maintain Sharepoint site per business requirements.
- Prepare and present training guides for users, technical staff and management where necessary.
- Organise quotes from external stakeholders to facilitate Technical upgrades and maintenance.
Role Requirements:
- The successful applicant may be required to perform duty within any CIC Group/Unit within the Brisbane Metropolitan area where CIC conducts business.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo psychometric assessment, prior to appointment.
- Applicants are advised that whilst performing the duties of the position they may be exposed to material (written, visual and audio) of a graphic and sensitive nature.
- Applicants are advised that travel interstate and intrastate may be required.
- Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance to the minimal level of Negative Vetting Level 1.
