We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team at Osborne SA. As our Submarine Construction Yard (SCY) Infrastructure Project Manager, you will work closely with ASC's internal stakeholders and a number of external stakeholders (including Australian Naval Infrastructure and Australian Submarine Agency) to plan the scope and schedule of deliverables in support of the SCY design, construction, and commissioning.Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, you will lead the scoping and development of processes, planning tools and other artefacts that will directly support the SCY Infrastructure Team to execute their work. You will lead the Team's internal scheduling activities including coordination across internal and external stakeholders. The role will be responsible for internal resource planning, developing cost estimates, tracking and reporting progress against cost and schedule milestones. In addition, the Infrastructure Project Manager will contribute to the daily coordination & medium to long term strategic planning for the Team. You will directly contribute to the successful delivery of a new fit for purpose Submarine Construction Yard.About you
You will have a Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Project Management with 10 years' Project Management experience in Industrial Manufacturing or Construction Industry. Experience in Defence Shipbuilding Industry is highly desirable. You will have experience in leading a team of technical personnel in a complex industrial environment.You will have effective time management skills, knowledge of systems engineering and 'requirements management' principles, strong communication, planning and organisational skills; strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, and enjoy working in a team environment across multidisciplinary teams.Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
