The primary purpose of the role is to provide quality outcomes in the delivery of infrastructure projects in line with Council’s delivery and operational plans.
Key Accountabilities:
- Design and manage the delivery of Infrastructure Recovery works including pre-planning, programming and compilation of all project documentation
- Assist with the administration of the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements ensuring IRW/EPAR submissions are submitted and agreed in a timely manner
- Ensure contractors and Council staff are communicated with and supervised using a mix of interpersonal skills
- Ensure all works are completed to a consistently high standard using sound engineering, environmental, safety, quality and financial principles through the application of project documentation and inspection processes
- Manage budgets and ongoing expenditure for projects being delivered
- Provide written reports on work related matters, manage up and ensure all project related documentation is produced to the required standards
- Assist with the management of the Customer Request Management (CRM’s) system for the Infrastructure Recovery team to ensure community expectations are delivered on, given constraints present
- Champion a safety culture within the team to ensure a safe work place for our people by monitoring compliance with policies, procedures, legislation, specifications, projects plans and any other documentation required for the successful delivery of projects

We are seeking someone who has or is willing to obtain:
- Diploma of Engineering/ Survey/ Drafting or four years experience in similar roles
- SafeWork Construction Induction Certificate (WHS White Card)
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
Full time: 70-hour fortnight (Term Contract until 31 December 2025)
Salary: Range from $74,469 to $85,638 pa + 11% super
