About this opportunity
Reporting to our Product Manager, you will work daily with the broader Product and Development teams including a skilled team of UX Designers at our UK parent company. This role will see you as the visionary and executor of the user interface that defines our product’s public face and usability.
You will have meticulous planning and prioritization skills for releases and sprints along with being a communicative conductor of Agile ceremonies.
In a nutshell, the responsibilities of this role are:-
- Sprint leadership; to define goals and driving the development cycle towards user-centric outcomes
- Storydevelopment; crafting user stories is your forte, outlining detailed User Experiences and ensuring wireframes and designs intuitively serve our user needs
- Progress reporting; pulse checking the project’s User Experience facets and reporting progress
- Strategic involvement; from goal setting to developing plans for product advancements to ensure that every aspect of the User Experience aligns with our strategic direction
To be considered for this opportunity, we are considering candidates with the following:-
- Min. 5 years Product Owner experience working within a deadline driven and highly collaborative global environment.
- Extensive experience in User Experience design, preferably with a background in Visual Design or front-end web development.
- Experience in the HR Tech or related space, applying UX principles to create impactful user interactions.
- A strong understanding of website accessibility guidelines, such as WCAG.
- Proficiency in UX design tools and front-end technologies.
- Ability to translate requirements into effective user stories.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and running Agile ceremonies.
- Clear and professional communication skills with the ability to express complex ideas visually and verbally.
- Strategic thinking and analytical mindset.
- Collaborative and transparent spirit with a focus on building cohesive product strategies.
