- Support Council’s Infringements Collections team
- Temporary part-time – 23 hours per week (12-month contract with the potential for a 6-month extension)
- Salary from $80,937 plus super pro rata
A bit about the role
This role is responsible for the effective management of council’s infringements debtor management process where stakeholder account management through identifying and implementing required solutions for the recovery of outstanding infringements debt is key. You will be the central point of contact for infringements debtors seeking information and/or support for payment of their infringements arrears and will ensure compliance to legislative requirements and industry best practices.
You will contribute to the success of the team through active teamwork and effective performance of your responsibilities and allocated duties.

- Ensure compliance to relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines
- Drive good customer service practices, working to effectively support a variety of internal and external stakeholders

- Strong demonstrated work experience in debtor management and collections
- Experience in customer service-based team operations within a complex and sensitive working environment
- Proficient stakeholder management skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience
- Experience in operational process review and development within the context of relevant legislative and statutory requirements
- A positive, curious and flexible mind
