The role
The Injury Management Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and effective support to staff and candidates who experience injury or illness at work. Reporting to the Safety Manager, this role will work closely with an additional Injury Management Coordinator, Agri Labour Account Managers, and associated support networks.
With the primary goal of the role to keep our staff and candidates working, your responsibilities include:
- Responding to incident and injury notifications
- Providing initial support and coordinating appropriate Return to work and Suitable Duties plans
- Lodging Workers Compensation claims with respective Insurers
- Facilitating compensation processes, including calculating Workcover wage payments
- Promoting a positive and proactive approach to Injury Management, including internal and external stakeholder management with regards to claims on hand
- Supporting with coordinating internal and external resources to minimise the harm and disruption to our business and our people.
- Some regional and national travel will be required to support the facilitation of Return to work & Suitable duties plans
With strong time-management and communication skills. Ability to communicate with a diverse range of host employers is a crucial aspect to this role.
To be considered for this role, it’s important you can address the following criteria:
- Return To Work certification (Desirable)
- Experience within Safety & Return to Work (Desirable)
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong Computer skills
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Essential)
- Experience with IAuditor, Monday.com (Desirable)
- Experience sourcing host employers for injured workers
