They exemplify the public sector purpose: Making a difference so South Australia thrives.About the Business - Lot FourteenThe business unit within the Department of the Premier and Cabinet is leading the management and delivery of Lot Fourteen, transforming the former Royal Adelaide Hospital site into a world class innovation district with a curated, collaborative research and business ecosystem dedicated to driving productivity and solving complex global challenges.Led by the State Project Lead, the cross-government project team also has responsibility for the development of the 7.5-hectare site, curation of the innovation community and activation of the district.One of the most exciting urban renewal projects in Australia, Lot Fourteen is the centrepiece of the 10-year Adelaide City Deal to provide a springboard for innovation and bring together the State's leading abilities in enabling critical technologies with a focus on defence, space, cyber and creative industries.Lot Fourteen is already home to a skilled workforce of more than 1,700 people from more than 160 businesses, attracting some of the world's most innovative organisations including Amazon Web Services, Myriota and Google.The district is also home to research and industry powerhouses such as the Australian Space Agency, SmartSat CRC, Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre, the Australian Institute for Machine Learning and Stone & Chalk.Role Highlights
