Our client is a specialist insolvency and Commercial Litigation law firm in Sydney's CBD, headed up by a Partner who is a recognized leader in the insolvency law area, having worked for years previously with a national firm. The firm has an outstanding reputation for providing complex insolvency and restructuring advice to domestic and international clients, which include insolvency practitioners, publicly listed entities, individuals and corporations.
The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a senior lawyer or senior associate with commercial/insolvency litigation experience to join the team. The role will see you provide advice on a range of Commercial Litigation matters in the Supreme and District Courts, you will be required to attend Court, manage client relationships, supervise and mentor junior lawyers, assist with marketing activities and you will be given the opportunity to also build your own practice with the firm's support.
About You
To be successful in this role you must:
- Have at least 5 years PAE in commercial/insolvency litigation, gained from a reputable Australian firm;
- Be able to run litigation matters autonomously, with little supervision;
- Have excellent communication skills;
- Be a team player who is flexible and adaptable.
