ALLIED BUILDING ADVISORY GROUP PTY LTD are seeking a full time Building Inspector to ensure compliance with laws and regulations and advise on building requirements.
Job Description –
Maintaining and developing the Building Consultancy service line and growing the business.
· Drafting and Negotiation of scopes of service for client projects:
· Management and oversight of project delivery;
· Provide service delivery excellence in innovative and new ways:
· Provide input into business planning and management approaches:
· Work with Allied Partners to achieve fulfilment of joint engagements.
· Building and maintaining Client relationships through Client management, engagements and Project Delivery
- Conducting life cycle surveys to Childcare sites throughout Australia, recording replacement costs and the 5-year capital expenditure of the building.
- Condition Audit surveys of large warehouse buildings located in Victoria, providing clients with a detailed report of the condition of all elements of a building at the commencement stage of a lease.
- Completing defect reports and advising on remedial works to be carried out to a range of different commercial buildings. Reviewing the remedial works that are carried out and determining if the works are completed to a sufficient standard.
- Reviewing operation manuals and warranty documentation provided to the purchaser of large warehouses prior to the handover
Core Building Consultancy Services
· Make Good Assessments (UK Dilapidations) and negotiations, both Tenant and Landlord (office and industrial);
· Ingoing Schedules of Condition (office, retail and industrial);
· Technical Due Diligence at acquisition and disposal (commercial, retail and industrial assets) to identify maintenance and capital expenditure requirements
· Industrial Development PC and End of DLP reporting
· Gap Analysis and Peer Review of As-builts and O&M’s
· Life Cycle Analysis and forecasting (commercial assets);
· Capital Works Funds (aged care assets, health and prisons);
· Asset Management Plans: Preparing plans, maintenance schedules and asset registers
· Portfolio Stock Condition Audits (Industrial, Child-care, Aged Care, Council etc.)
· NSW, Interstate, national and interstate travel where required
Skills
· Degree qualification essential
· At least 2 years of relevant experience essential
