To be a successful Instructional Designer you will be responsible for creating courses within our Learning Management System which utilise learning design tools and technology. You will be instrumental in upskilling our consultants and in driving performance whilst ensuring compliance across relevant workplace legislation and polices. Significant focus will be spent ensuring the successful delivery and evolution of the LeavePlus’ member experience, risk management, compliance adherence and operational effectiveness objectives.

The role offers you the chance to:
- Be a collaborative, active and positive member of the Training team who operates in alignment with the LeavePlus Values (Here for Members, Empower our People, Thrive Together, Anticipate and Create)
- Utilise industry leading methodologies and adult learning theories to review and re-frame existing materials, including tools, templates, and process documents
- Design learning solutions to enhance capability across all LeavePlus employees using eLearning platforms, digital, micro, face to face and just in time learning resources
- Contribute to enhancing the learning experience and building company/enterprise-wide capability for now and into the future
- Facilitate technical workshops virtual or face-to-face
- Advocate for inclusivity by ensuring designs adhere to LeavePlus DEI standards, demonstrating empathy for all users.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in designing eLearning educational content across banking, financial services, superannuation, construction, or similar compliance-based industries and have a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent experience).
You will be self-motivated and demonstrate a passion for supporting your stakeholders and teams and be ready to provide examples of:
- Utilising learning design tools and technology, including but not limited to Articulate 360, Canva, Vimeo, and Adobe
- Successfully building and managing courses within an LMS
- Constructing e-learning materials, face to face, virtual, digital, micro and just in time learning resources
- Cross-functional work projects requiring critical and strategic thinking
- Advanced listening, written and verbal communication
- Exceptional time management, planning and delivery.
