Your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide expert knowledge to existing new project developments to ensure compliance with Instrument & Control discipline Engineering related to corporate, legislative, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide recommendations to the project to balance the technical requirements of the instrumentation & Control discipline in a pragmatic and risk-based manner.
- Support key project activities (Design review, HAZOP, LOPA, FAT, IFAT, SAT) and management of change (MOC) processes.
- Support the multidisciplinary Engineering team with Instrument & Control related queries.
- Align and provide direction to Engineering contractors with respect to Instrument & Control discipline technical requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in an Instrument & Control engineering position within the oil and gas industry.
- Good understanding of oil and gas industry technical practices and standards
- Experience in key major projects activities (Design Review, HAZOP, LOPA, FAT)
- A wealth of knowledge in BMS (Burner Management Systems) and Fire & Gas protection Systems
- The ability for collaborative engagement of functional groups and other stakeholders to achieve the project goals.
