GIO Wollongong is a family-run insurance agency that has been servicing the Illawarra since 2011. Our business provides face-to-face service to customers who require assistance establishing and managing various general insurance products.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for client-focused people who strive to provide excellent customer service by making the complex simple and ensuring customers have the coverages they require. As an Authorised Representative of GIO, you will be engaging with our customers daily about their insurance policies to find what option is best suited to them. 

• You will be delivering a seamless customer experience in Motor, Home & CTP insurance products that provides value for our customers.
• Identify the appropriate insurance policies and provide the necessary level of advice to meet customer requirements.

Skills & Experience  

To be successful, you will need the following:

• Ability to problem solve and make the complex easy to understand for customers
• Excellent customer relationship-building and rapport
• Knowledge of Protect system & GIO consumer insurance products (desired but NOT required)
• Computer literacy and navigation skills
• The desire to be a vital member of an energetic and committed team that is passionate about providing insurance products to new and existing customers

Hours, Location & Training 

Fairy Meadow location

• Permanent part-time opportunity.
• You will be working on weekdays between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm.
• Comprehensive (fully accredited) and paid training period
