Estimator\Supervisor | $90K - $120K + Super + Car
As an Estimator/Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in the insurance process, ensuring that projects are efficiently managed and completed to the highest standards. You will be responsible for initial assessment to final handover
and documentation finalisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct systematic investigations of event damage, paying close attention to all maintenance concerns
- Prepare and submit detailed reports in compliance with individual Insurance Company requirements
- Develop concise trade Scopes of Work accompanied by accurate estimates that adhere to company agreed rates or industry standards
- Issue Work Orders and effectively manage the job budget
- Regularly visit project sites to ensure the fulfillment of trade scopes of work
- Review, approve, or reject subcontractor variations as submitted
- Communicate timely updates to insured parties and/or home occupants regarding deliveries and scheduled works
- Provide regular reports and updates to the Assessing Manager
- Carry out “hands on” trade work as and when required
- Setup makesafes on the system, allocate & follow up trades to perform the makesafe & coordinate with the Insured or Home Occupier. Update the client of makesafe progress and

- Experience in estimating and supervising construction projects within the insurance sector - this is a must have
- Trade qualification, White Card, Current First Aid & Current Drivers Licence - this is a must have
- High attention to detail and the ability to prepare accurate reports that meet insurance company requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in managing budgets and delivering projects within specified timelines
- Sound knowledge of industry standards, practices, and insurance protocols
