The Team
Our Insurance & Health team is headed up by 33 industry leading principals across six states. Within the insurance space our award-winning team is known for producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional client service. The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for the biggest names in the insurance industry, both locally and overseas.
The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our Professional Indemnity team in Brisbane, led by Rhett Kennedy and Jordan Farr. The role will involve providing coverage advice and defending claims, investigations and regulatory proceedings for insurers and their insured professionals across the legal, financial services, construction, property, and allied health industries; and directors, officers and companies.
The Successful Candidate
We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- previous defendant insurance experience (preferably Professional Indemnity);
- ability to build strong client relationships with a focus on client service;
- effective communication skills;
- ability and enthusiasm to mentor junior practitioners; and
- collaborative and pragmatic approach.
