We are looking for an Intake and Assessment Officer to join our Strong Minds Western team in either Bathurst or Dubbo, NSW. The vacancy is ongoing, and will work Full Time, 75 hours per fortnight.

What will I do?
- Perform intake, triage, assessment and coordination of referrals received by Strong Minds Western
- Provide administrative and data support to a multidisciplinary mental healthcare team
- Client-centred approach ensuring efficient and timely access to appropriate clinical services
- Non-clinical first point of contact for a team making a genuine difference in our community

What do I need?
- Experience and ability to undertake assessments of people with mental health difficulties
- Demonstrated high level of communication skills and ability to work with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to take an empathetic approach whilst providing intake services over the phone
- Proactive approach to solving problems, multitask and effectively manage work deadlines
- Strong skills in document management and electronic client records in a confidential manner
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a multidisciplinary team.
