The Integration Manager role reports to either Director Northern Region or Director Southern Region and each region has multiple state-wide employees. The unit is also responsible for leading and strengthening integrated service responses to domestic and family violence - one of the three foundational elements of the Queensland Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Strategy 2016-2026.
Your key responsibilities:
- Facilitate ongoing implementation of the DFV Common Risk and Safety Framework, information sharing protocols and, integrated responses to persons affected by violence.
- Lead a strong integrated DFV service system through effective change management processes, including training opportunities, strategic communication and community liaison.
- Establish/ maintain productive partnerships a broad range of stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, negotiation, information sharing on strategic/operational matters, implementation of consistent, robust and transparent integrated response practices.
- Contribute to performance monitoring of integrated service responses. Contract management of funded non-government organisations across South East Queensland. Tracking /providing analysis of performance data, preparing high quality, timely reports, briefing notes and supervising a contract officer.
- Negotiate and problem-solve with non-government organisations and within department on establishing, assessing, renewing and creating contracts with these organisations.
- Provide advice and make recommendations to the Director, regarding emerging or critical issues, key linkages and strategic opportunities and challenges and issues affecting integrated service responses and/or contracts in the region.
Technical skills, abilities and cultural capability
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of DFV, integrated service system and responses.
- Works independently and identifies more effective methods of work operation.
- Contributes to workplace equity, diversity, respect and inclusion that enriches our culture of respect and inclusion.
- Builds long-term partnerships with a range of stakeholders from other cultures as well as First Nations people.
