About the role
Reporting to the Manager, Integrity and Professional Standards, your primary objective will be to case manage and respond compassionately to complaints from adult survivors who have been subjected to emotional, physical and sexual child abuse or current incidents of adult boundary violations and misconduct. Additionally, you will provide critical support and services to ensure the proper safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
Duties
- Process and case-manage formal complaints
- Provide advice regarding safety of children, young people and vulnerable adults
- Draft case related correspondence
- Maintain confidential files and documents
- Assist on the development of policies and procedures
Skills & experience
- Strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly developed communication skills
- Demonstrated professional experience in case management
- Demonstrated professional experience in working with complex trauma
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
- High degree of emotional intelligence
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, law or policing or related qualification
