Job description

About Great River City Light Rail

Western Sydney is one of the fastest growing regions in our country, with the population of Greater Parramatta alone set to climb by 50 per cent by 2041 and at Great River City Light Rail we want to create new communities, connect great places and help locals and visitors move around and explore what the region has to offer. The new Light Rail will connect Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD and Camellia, spanning 12 kilometres and utilising state-of-the-art vehicles that delivers comfortable, user-friendly and high-performance services. By 2026, around 28,000 people will use Parramatta Light Rail every day and an estimated 130,000 people will be living within walking distance of Light Rail stops.

The role

Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, you will be responsible for managing the interface relationships for Parramatta Light Rail with its contractors and third parties. This will include working closely with our stakeholders to ensure we are compliant to legislation and our contractual obligations and to minimise and resolve any disruptions to the network. In addition, the role will be ensuring interface governance by monitoring and overseeing the systems integration activities and Construction Traffic Management activities across the network.

What you bring

In addition to relevant tertiary qualifications, your background will include extensive experience in a similar role. This will be supported with your experience with operational interface management and managing the relationship and performance with our subcontractors to ensure continuous improvement. Your ability to build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships and aptitude to problem solving will be key to your success in the role.

In return, we offer competitive pay and benefits and a positive culture that embraces diversity and employee feedback.
