About the role We are seeking a talented and experienced Interface Project Manager to join our Queensland Train Manufacturing Program team based in Brisbane CBD.
The Interface Project Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Interface Advisers, who will provide crucial guidance and support to ensure ensure project scope, deliverables and Operational Readiness requirements align with Queensland Rail SEQ Asset Delivery project expectations.
Along with an understanding of Operational Readiness principles, the successful candidate will have a strong background in Project Management, leading a team and interfacing with various stakeholders.
Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, helping them grow their skills and achieve their career goals.
• Lead and mentor team in the development and delivery of operational readiness requirements for QTMP.
• Monitor team activities and provide regular reporting keeping all stakeholders updated with progress of the program.
• Act as a main point of contact for any risk or issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define interface requirements and project timelines.
• Develop Queensland Rail processes in relation to Queensland Train Manufacturing Program.

About you
• Proven experience working on a sizeable project, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience in a leadership or management role, preferably working within Project Management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proven experience of working towards deadlines - aligning projects & tasks to business requirements
