The Role
Finding people who are a good fit for our studio is important to us, and we have a new opportunity for an Interior Designer to join our growing team. Working closely with the Design Leader, you will be the lead team member responsible for implementing the design of designated areas of a hospitality project from concept through to completion.
This exciting opportunity will suit a collaborative, proactive and highly skilled person with a high attention to detail to take an approved concept through design development and documentation to achieve an exceptional outcome.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Creation of design in collaboration with the project design team;
- Developing the design in 3D SketchUp and 2D AutoCAD;
- Communication with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Delivering concept presentations and documentation drawing sets
- Quality Assurance to ensure documentation complies with current regulations and satisfies scope requirements
To be successful in this role:
- Ideally degree qualified in Interior Design
- 3+ years experience working on high end projects, with experience working on hospitality projects highly regarded.
- You will posses strong organisation and communication skills
- You will have a strong working knowledge of Sketchup (essential) and AutoCAD (essential)
- Demonstrated proactive and collaborative approach to projects
- Ability to work on more than one project as required
- Full Work Rights in Australia
