What You Will Be Doing
With a realistic workload placed upon you, you will be provided with excellent “on the job” mentoring by the Partners and Senior Managers, and be continually encouraged to participate in all internal and external training workshops.
You will also be encouraged to embrace more client contact, once again allowing you to make positive steps in your career. Most of the Senior Management team started with the firm as developing young accountants and have progressed rapidly due to the guidance, responsibility and trust placed upon them by the Partnership.
While working in a firm that offers a variety of solutions and services to businesses within the Hunter and surrounds, you will find that the responsibilities and tasks entrusted upon you will be predominantly tax/business services focussed. You will also find that at times you will be integral to delivering an array of additional “advisory” services. Your workload will be managed to ensure that your day goes quickly while at the same time increasing your general accounting knowledge.
What Do You Possess
As mentioned previously, this firm is already in another major growth phase and they are in need of either an Intermediate Accountant or Accountant. They are open to your level of experience but would prefer at least three years in Public Practice in Australia. They are also quite open when it comes to your current level of study. You may still be at university studying part time or you may have completed uni and have already commenced your CA. Assistance will be provided for you to achieve this challenging part of your life.
As the team you would be joining is fairly vibrant and friendly, you will need to be comfortable forming new relationships and sharing in your experiences. (This is why I feel that this firm has had so much success in retaining their staff and continuing to grow.)
