We also provide accounting services for ASX listed clients and conduct due diligence services for domestic and overseas corporate clients.
About The Role
We are seeking Intermediate Tax Accountants to join our team. This role involves taxation, accounting & business compliance work for a variety of clients of varying size, industry and entity type.
Some of the duties in this role include:
- Preparing financials, business activity statements, income tax returns and fringe benefits tax returns for all entity types
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients
- Liaise with the ATO, ASIC, banks, and other external entities on behalf of clients
- Manage a portfolio of clients and respond to clients' queries
- Assist the partner in providing business advisory and strategies to clients
About You
The ideally successful candidate will have:
- Prior 2-4 years’ experience in a tax or business services role in a chartered accounting firm
- Great technical knowledge across the range of business services functions (including tax, compliance, and accounting issues)
- Experience with Xero, Xero Practice Manager, MYOB, Quickbooks, Excel & Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and studying in a CA program
- Driven, ambitious and eager to learn
- Able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
- Strong attention to detail
