The External Relations and Research team is seeking a Senior Project Officer to join our team to work on strategic projects that support the non-state education sector. In this role, you will use your project management, organisational and time management skills to: - Coordinate project planning and reporting processes and activities involving a range of internal and external education stakeholders; and - Coordinate the development, implementation and monitoring of project plans, phases and activities, relating to the non-state education sector. This position is offered on a full-time basis until 30 June 2025 unless otherwise determined.

Your role:
As the Senior Project Officer, you will:
- Coordinate project planning, and reporting processes and activities involving a range of internal and external education stakeholders.
- Coordinate the development, implementation and monitoring of project plans, phases and activities, relating to the non-state education sector.
The Senior Project Officer reports to the Director, Non-State Schools Accreditation Framework Review Taskforce, External Relations and Research, Policy, External Relations and International, Policy, Performance, International and Intergovernmental.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage liaison, communication and coordination with other teams across the department to support the planning, delivery and reporting of strategic projects.
- Undertake project planning, analysis, integrate project activities and evaluate the impact of projects and initiatives.
- Develop, implement and monitor project services in consultation with stakeholders to ensure identified needs are met.
- Assist in coordinating, organising and promoting project activities.
- Provide secretariat support for project governance groups to ensure effective implementation of project objectives within the established timeframes and allocated budget.
- Provide project advice, information and status, including preparation of correspondence, policy responses, and briefings for the Minister, Director-General and members of the Executive Management Board.
