The Role:
This Internal Recruiter role will keep you busy, challenged, learning, and contributing! You will report directly to the Head of People & Culture and support multiple Managers across the group in fulfilling their recruitment needs.
This role would suit someone with a home-office set-up who can conduct video interviews professionally (with little background noise). Whilst it is predominately a WFH role, requiring you to screen & interview candidates daily, some projects/ tasks may require you to attend the Head Office in Virginia to meet with the team.
There will also be a variety of projects for the right person who wants to expand their role into other HR areas.
In this role, you will be required to:
- Utilise your knowledge and understanding of recruitment processes, best practices, and sourcing strategies.
- Undertake the delivery of recruitment services including:
- Creating job adverts from Position Descriptions & advertising on various portals
- Sourcing candidates through online portals & social media
- Shortlisting & pre-screening resumes
- Arranging & conducting online interviews (via Teams) to screen the candidates.
- Complete online questionnaires & update the recruitment database with the necessary information to rank and categorise candidates.
- Conduct any pre-employment assessments required.
- Complete recruitment reports tracking hire ratio & time-to-hire statistics.
- Provide recruitment advice and support to managers on recruitment policies and procedures to ensure hiring of the most suitable candidate/s can effectively occur.
- Ensure consistent pipeline of candidates for all clubs.
- Assist Head of People & Culture with the recruitment strategy & reporting.
- Follow directions, prioritize & complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Perform other related duties.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Minimum of 2 years previous recruitment experience is mandatory. Applicants that do not have recruitment experience will not be considered.
- Experience recruiting in Health & Fitness industry is preferred, however, demonstrated ability to manage various recruitment roles at once will be sufficient.
- Proven professionalism and integrity in dealing with sensitive information.
- Exposure to fast-paced, high-volume recruitment
- Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships, and influencing stakeholders of all levels.
- Ability to maintain accurate records & work on different CRM systems.
- Sound computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and database systems.
- Use of social media & internet to source candidates & keep abreast of market trends.
- Excellent Communication skills – ability to interview online & be comfortable with recording & sharing those interviews.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently & manage time effectively.
- Be reliable, proactive, punctual, professional & well-presented.
- Have a strong work ethic.
- Be highly motivated & an adaptable team player with the ability to multitask and show initiative.
- Have Australian working rights.
