Key aspects of the role:
- Cold Calling on the phone into small & medium size companies to generate new business opportunities.
- Contacting lapsed trading accounts
- Generate leads for field-based sales reps.
- Ensure all enquiries from customers are followed up, handled efficiently and accurately.
- Process sales orders.
- Manage BCI data base monitoring new construction developments.
- Managing a pipeline and capturing data for customers equipment requirements
About you
- Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner
- The ability to build successful working relationships and trust over the phone
- Previous Sales experience in a cold calling sales environment
- Passion for sales and in particular, new business
- To be driven, self-motivated and target driven attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate to advanced level an advantage)
- Must possess a high degree of customer focus (internal and external)
- Previous experience with Cordell Connect an advantage
