Our client is a very successful commercial division of a renowned National retail company, involved in the supply of a diverse product range to the building industry in Western Australia, specifically targeted towards residential and commercial construction projects.

This role holds the important task of managing a team of 9 administration staff members. You will be highly personable with a demonstrable history of providing extraordinary customer service and advice on residential and commercial products to Builders, Developers and Architectural clients.

Role Overview: As the Internal Sales Administration Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales team and ensuring smooth operations within our sales department. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day administrative tasks, providing training and support to Internal Sales staff, and acting as a liaison between various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily administration for the sales team
  • Train staff on correct processes and procedures, systems and products
  • Resolve daily issues related to orders, deliveries, stock shortages, and warehouse operations
  • Coordinate purchasing activities, including liaising with buyers and monitoring stock levels
  • Monitor pending orders, builder profiles, and assist with forecasting
  • Provide technical product information and support to customers and sales team
  • Assist with problem-solving and conflict resolution
  • Ensure even workload allocation and cover staff workload during absences
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders via phone and email
