Our client is a very successful commercial division of a renowned National retail company, involved in the supply of a diverse product range to the building industry in Western Australia, specifically targeted towards residential and commercial construction projects.
This role holds the important task of managing a team of 9 administration staff members. You will be highly personable with a demonstrable history of providing extraordinary customer service and advice on residential and commercial products to Builders, Developers and Architectural clients.
Role Overview: As the Internal Sales Administration Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales team and ensuring smooth operations within our sales department. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day administrative tasks, providing training and support to Internal Sales staff, and acting as a liaison between various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily administration for the sales team
- Train staff on correct processes and procedures, systems and products
- Resolve daily issues related to orders, deliveries, stock shortages, and warehouse operations
- Coordinate purchasing activities, including liaising with buyers and monitoring stock levels
- Monitor pending orders, builder profiles, and assist with forecasting
- Provide technical product information and support to customers and sales team
- Assist with problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Ensure even workload allocation and cover staff workload during absences
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders via phone and email
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
