Your Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Internal Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing telephone and e-mail sales inquiries, providing exceptional customer support, and converting business contacts into sales. You will work closely with Territory Sales Managers/Branch Manager to ensure superior customer service and cultivate strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling inbound communication (phone, email, fax) for sales quotes and orders.
- Providing technical support and referring complex queries to relevant teams.
- Monitoring customer credit statuses and product stock levels.
- Processing sales orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilizing ERP for stock ordering and tracking.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining updated product knowledge.
- Proactively converting inquiries into sales.
- Creating part numbers, bills of materials, and sourcing external products.
- Seeking out new market opportunities and assisting in various sales and operational tasks.
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience in high-volume customer service with a technical focus.
- Proficiency in industry-specific knowledge, particularly in mining, transport, or agriculture is desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective customer interactions.
- Strong numeracy skills for handling technical and financial aspects of customer inquiries.
