Internal Sales – Timber Machining

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Sales Representative to join our growing Timber Machining business. In this role, you'll be the bridge between our customers and our production team, ensuring machining jobs run smoothly and efficiently.

About Us

Lindsay Meyers, a division of Dressed Timber Products Pty Ltd, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Sales Team. For over 48 years, we've been proudly manufacturing high-quality timber mouldings, trusted by customers across Australia. 

Responsibilities:

• Promptly process customer enquiries and requests for quotes on Timber Machining jobs/projects.
• Understand customer needs and recommend the most appropriate timber products and machining services.
• Provide accurate pricing and lead times based on project specifications.
• Process and manage customer orders, ensuring clear communication with production.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop new business opportunities.
• Generate sales reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Assist the team as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience in sales, preferably within the timber industry.
• Strong understanding of timber products and their applications.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
• Strong attention to detail.
