Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated International Operations Manager to join our team in Brisbane. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this role will play a crucial role in overseeing our International Operations, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and optimizing operational efficiency across different time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the USA team to address operational issues and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Assist in the implementation of UK operations, which may require flexibility in working hours, including evenings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support to new staff members, facilitating their training and development.
- Develop and implement systems and procedures to enhance the overall customer experience and streamline operations.
- Maintain effective communication with contractors in various countries to address operational challenges and ensure seamless operations.
- Manage staff rosters for international shifts in our call center, ensuring adequate coverage and optimal performance.
- Take ownership of training programs to continuously improve the skills and performance of our customer service team.
- Utilise strong operational experience to drive efficiencies and optimize processes.
- Experience in sales and service is advantageous.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in an international context.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage customer service operations and drive performance improvement.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate international time zones and project requirements.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support team members.
- Experience in managing relationships with international freight companies and third-party logistics providers is desirable.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
