Inventory Analyst – Join Our Dynamic Team!

Are you passionate about precision and have an eye for detail? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where your work directly impacts operational efficiency? If yes, we have the perfect opportunity for you to showcase your talents and grow your career. We're on the hunt for a dedicated and analytical Inventory Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis working a 4:3 day shift roster. This role is pivotal in ensuring our inventory accuracy, optimising stock levels, and enhancing our overall supply chain efficiency.

 About the role

As our Inventory Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the pulse of our inventory health, ensuring we meet our stakeholder needs without interruption. Your day-to-day accountabilities will include:

  • Conducting Regular Audits:  You'll coordinate thorough audits of our warehouse inventory, ensuring accuracy and swiftly identifying any discrepancies to maintain the integrity of our stock levels.
  • ERP System Mastery:  Take charge of managing and refining the master data within our ERP system, ensuring a seamless flow of accurate information.
  • Real-Time Inventory Tracking:  Utilising cutting-edge inventory management software, you'll monitor and update stock levels in real-time, keeping our operations running smoothly.
  • Forecasting and Analysis:  By analysing historical data, you'll forecast future inventory requirements, preventing stockouts or overstock situations, and ensuring we're always a step ahead.
  • Collaboration with Procurement:  Work closely with our procurement team to optimise order quantities, maintaining healthy inventory turnover rates and contributing to our bottom line.
  • Policy Implementation: You'll spearhead the implementation and enforcement of inventory control policies and procedures, aiming to minimise errors and reduce shrinkage.
  • Reporting: Generate insightful reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing visibility into inventory accuracy, stock levels, and order fulfillment rates.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pinpoint and act on process improvements, driving efficiency across the board.
  • Issue Resolution: Take the lead in resolving inventory-related issues, working alongside warehouse staff to investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Staying Ahead of the Curve: Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in inventory management, ensuring our strategies remain cutting-edge.

 About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or relevant experience in supply chain and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A problem-solver with a keen analytical mind, capable of making data-driven decisions.
  • Detail-oriented, with a knack for identifying discrepancies and inefficiencies.
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating with others to achieve shared goals.
  • Agile and adaptable, able to navigate the fast-paced nature of inventory management.
  • Eager to learn and stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
