About the Project - The Humanitarian Logistics Capability (HLC) contract is a partnership between The Palladium Group and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). The HLC programme itself supports the Australian Government's international disaster relief efforts through the provision of logistical support, disaster relief procurement, and timely technical advice.
About the role - The Warehouse and Inventory Analyst role will support the Warehouse Manager & broader warehouse team to manage, receive, and dispatch stock from the company's Pinkenba-based storage facility. This role is both operational; ensuring stock receivals and dispatches are administratively compliant and analytical; assisting the Warehouse Manager with reporting and data. The role is fixed-term until 30th June 2024, with a view to extend for a further year.
Key Responsibilities
- Update & Maintain WMS databases
- Allocation of stock (Racking)
- Regular review and report on inventory levels and strategic analysis of data to provide reporting and continuous improvement suggestions
- Work with the Warehouse Manger to ensure safe and efficient storage solutions
- Issue and maintain administrative documentation and WMS updates relating to stock receivals and dispatches
- Report and solve inventory discrepancies
- Assist with planning and executing blind stock takes and cycle counts
About You
- Relevant qualification in supply chain, logistics and/or warehousing advantageous
- Extensive experience working in a similar position within warehousing administration and Inventory and control
- Certificate in WHS, preferred
- High attention to detail, analytical and strategic thinker
- WMS Experience essential. Cargo Wise beneficial
- Ability to undertake industry training were required
