Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Inventory and Logistics Analyst to join our team at Showpony Hair Extensions in West End, Brisbane. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing inventory levels, calculating the rate of inventory sales, creating projections, and overseeing the logistics process to ensure efficient and timely stock replenishment. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the seamless flow of products from suppliers to customers, optimizing both Inventory and Logistics processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Analysis:
   • Regularly analyze inventory levels, sales data, and trends to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
   • Calculate the rate of inventory sales and monitor product velocity.
2. Demand Forecasting:
   • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather insights into upcoming promotions, new product launches, and market trends.
   • Utilize forecasting tools and methodologies to create accurate demand projections.
3. Stock Replenishment:
   • Generate purchase orders based on demand projections and stock depletion analysis.
   • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock.
4. Logistics Management:
   • Oversee the end-to-end logistics process, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
   • Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize shipping routes and reduce lead times.
5. Data Management:
   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Inventory and Logistics records using relevant management systems.
   • Regularly audit and reconcile Inventory and Logistics data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
6. Reporting:
   • Prepare and present regular reports on Inventory and Logistics performance, sales trends, and forecast accuracy.
   • Provide actionable insights to management for informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in inventory analysis, demand forecasting, stock replenishment, and Logistics management.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
