InvoCare PetCare is a national provider for grieving families who are looking to arrange private pet cremations and to memorialise the passing of their pet. We have offices in QLD, NSW, VIC, SA and WA and employ over 210 employees in our PetCare division. All of us are pet lovers. We are compassionate, caring and understand that our clients are going through a very difficult time.

We are looking for a motivated individual to drive excellence in our Inventory operations. We are a growing company where you will be able to make an immediate impact on our business and the families we help. The role will plan and support optimal inventory levels to ensure maximum service and minimal cost to the business whilst driving successful execution of inventory procurement strategies. As an influence leader you will collaborate with other departments and business units to achieve the best possible outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• On going demand planning based on past results and future forecasts

• Coordinating the end-to-end supply of inventory and other freighted items.

• Raising supplier purchase orders based on analysis of needs and expediting orders where necessary.

• Provide status reporting on orders including recommendations for expediting.

• Liaising with internal stakeholders to coordinate all supply activities (eg QA and PO receipting) required to complete the delivery of the purchased items.

• Reporting, coordinating and monitoring vendor non-conformance (quality issues, incorrect deliveries)

• Building relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new local, national and international options.

• Assisting in monthly financials and reports in relation to purchasing.

• Timely facilitation of stocktakes and liaising with business units on variance reports to ensure accurate stock on hand.

• Implementation and management of inventory purchasing, stock management and warehousing procedures.

• Support warehouse staff around the country.

Our Successful Candidate:

• 5+ years in manufacturing operations and processes

• Experience with managing automated warehouse systems ie NetSuite, Unleashed etc

• Able to manage competing demands with the ability to work towards tight deadlines in a high pressure environment.

• Highly organised, motivated and results focused.

• Strong customer service focus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate with and influence all levels of internal and external stakeholders.

• Enjoys working in a cross-functional and diverse environment.

• A track record of proactive problem solving.
