About the Opportunity Do you like the logistics environment? We are looking for a proactive Inventory Coordinator/Controller to join the team. No day is the same, you will never be bored especially if you like a fast paced environment. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role is responsible for the inventory management of finished goods products into and out of the Distribution Centre on a daily basis. You need to ensure customer demands are met, with minimal financial loss to the company through stock dumps and poor inventory management. Don't worry, you don't need to know everything we will teach you. Are you analytical? High attention to detail? Experience in warehousing, inventory management & logistics? We are looking for you! Key accountabilities include: Coordinate the timely and accurate completion of stock-take for all inventory items within your area of control and reconciliation of data and appropriate stocks analysis. This role involves some physical counting (cold room) Ensure the completion of daily review of stocks and stock levels to meet customer orders and reduce write offs. Ensure that all inward and outward stock has paperwork with correct approvals. Ensure all incoming products are correctly receipted in and use by codes recorded then product stored, in the correct cold room location. Liaise with planning department to ensure stock levels are adequate to cover sales requirements and minimize stock dumps. The Inventory Controller needs to manage back on UBD, rotation issues, capacity and trends with excessive days’ cover.
