ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES
- Ensuring compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and management systems
- Lead and facilitate Site Risk assessments.
- Participate and review in site SWMS/JHA
- Develop strategies to reduce risk and provide expert advice.
- Undertake safety inspections, interactions, audits and provide recommendations for improvements where required.
- Identification of and facilitation of best practise standards and solutions
- Lead ICAM & assist with incident investigations & safety report preparation.
- Providing on-site expertise for all on HSE matters
- Build strong, effective relationships with subbies and foster a positive working culture on site
EXPERIENCE/SKILLSET
- Cert IV or above in Occupational Health & Safety
- Proven experience and expertise as a HSE Advisor
- A thorough understanding of all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and Standards
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- A continuous improvement mindset and proactive approach to problem solving.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders.
- Site-based construction experience in Australia on built form projects (Commercial, High Rise or similar)
- Use of Sign Onsite & Procore desirable, not essential
PACKAGE
- Immediate interview & start
- $130,000- $160,000 + Super – Negotiable upon experience/skills
