YOUR ROLE
As an Inventory Planner, your main responsibility is developing and execution of the demand plan to maintain target product availability levels across all branches whilst maintaining inventory levels within budget.
Reporting on performance metrics to track effectiveness of the demand and forecasting strategies. To provide accurate and timely information to the Sector sales teams and broader business.
Other tasks include, but are not limited to:
Product forecasting
Ensuring execution of purchase orders
Managing product levels to budgeted value, stock days and turn
Maintain strong relationship with key stakeholders to deliver forecast accuracy.
Reporting on key customer inventories
Coordinating meetings between Supply and Sales to ensure the necessary communication between the business functions
Maintain high levels of communication to all key stakeholders on inventory status and service levels
ABOUT YOU

The other essentials we are looking for:
Experience in a similar role
Any additional qualifications in logistics, materials control or similar is advantageous
Good Excel skills and experience with forecasting software
Enjoy working with numbers and trends, logically minded
Ability to work under pressure and meet given deadlines
Ability to understand customer needs
Great Communication skills
