Due to an increase in project work, an opportunity has now arisen for a Materials Planner/Inventory Coordinator to work within the supply chain team & support materials planning, inventory management & coordination.
About the Opportunity
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Liaise with vendors for materials requirements & place materials orders & goods receipt in SAP.
- Communicate with different stakeholders to analyse, confirm & maintain inventory requirements.
- Complete compliance forms, import permit applications & write & amend SOP's, work instructions & other documents.
- Provides support for problems with vendor products & services.
- Work collaboratively with other planners to maintain knowledge of the planned manufacturing schedules across the site.
About You:
The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field.
- Previous Inventory management/Coordinator and or planning experience required.
- Experience in SAP & placing material orders & goods receipt in SAP.
- Excellent skills Microsoft Excel for reporting & scenario planning.
- Strong analytical skills in supply chain environment.
- Excellent communication and good attention to detail.
