This provides the opportunity to develop your skills to deliver investment advice and delegated (OCIO) investment solutions to some of Australia’s largest investor groups. - Support delivery of client project work through research, analysis, applying relevant methodologies, attending client meetings and drafting reports.
- Contribute to projects through effective management of tasks, and support the team to meet client deliverables.
- Develop own capability through informal and formal learning opportunities.
- Participate in internal projects to improve Mercer, in particular talent, quality, service delivery, internal efficiency / effectiveness and intellectual capital.
- Support business development initiatives and proposals.
- Develop other’s capability through informal and formal learning opportunities

- Strong technical base across investments and / or actuarial
- Analytical skills and experience using spreadsheets and databases for information analysis
- High-level proficiency in programming and model building would be well regarded – VBA, Python, R
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Relevant post graduate and / or completed or working towards relevant professional qualification (CFA/ CIMA or similar)
- Business development capability
- Strong passion and curiosity regarding investment markets
