Walshs is looking for a motivated and proactive Implementation Specialist to join our investment administration division. Our investment administration team are responsible for the implementation of our clients investment advice. The role requires a person who is process driven, has high attention to detail and excellence in client service.
What will you do?
- Implementation of all advice recommendations for clients
- Set up of new managed savings plan accounts
- Set up of MDA accounts for clients with Mason Stevens
- Set up of LTE accounts
- Changes to clients portfolios as directed by the client, or advisers
- Ongoing management of clients accounts – answering client or staff queries, updating bank details, updating addresses and identifying issues
- Preparation of verbal record of advice documents following adviser meeting
- Collation and sending of investment statement of advice documents
- Manage the Fee Disclosure Statement (FDS) process – prepare, monitor and issue FDS in line with current regulatory requirements
- Attend investment committee meetings
- Monthly commission reports
- Collaborate with our analyst, and advisers to implement advice and liaise with clients
What you need:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Secondary education required
- Diploma of Financial Planning is advantageous, but not required
- Familiar with investment platforms such as Mason Stevens, Praemium and BT Panorama is preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication skills, and can convey complex information in a simple way to clients
