Our innovative products and services, backed by our global dealer network, provide exceptional value that helps customers succeed.The Caterpillar MineStar Implementation team has an opportunity for an energetic and committed person to join the technology group in our Brisbane or Perth office.Job Purpose: You will be responsible for implementing the MineStar suite of surface Mining Technology products (Command for Hauling/Dozing/Drilling, Fleet, Terrain, Health, Edge) at new customer sites including upgrades for existing Customers. Implement system configuration and solutions to meet commercial contracts and mining business needs. You will support the Dealer and Customer during the installation and configuration of the software, debugging, testing, and integration of other systems to MineStar projects.Job duties include by not limited too :Install and configure the complete MineStar system to meet commercial contract and site-specific needsSupport the implementation of system modules to specification and configure modules based on requirements gathered from Customer's business analysisPlanning and execution of integrated testing and Customer acceptance testingAbility to problem-solve through technical investigation and resolution, including responding to Customer questionsProvide implementation technical training to End Users and System AdministratorsPerform implementation and integration tasks for internal and external CustomersAssist with documentation, training and functional specificationsFollow project management process and implementation assignmentsProvide basic training on our standard implementation processes and usage of MineStar systemsRequired qualifications and skills:Technical Bachelor Degree and/or relevant experience in a related IT/technical/engineering roleExtensive hands-on experience with technical software system implementation, preferably in a mining environmentExtensive hands-on experience with IT system architectures, enterprise computing infrastructure and cybersecurityExperience in Fleet Management implementations is highly desirableExperience in Mining Technology installation, configuration and commissioning on heavy machines is desirableThe ability to develop relationships through excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary teamAbility to undertake up to 25% domestic and international travelCaterpillar of Australia is not currently hiring foreign national applicants that require or will require sponsorship.
