Position Title: Accounts Officer
Employment Type: Casual
Minimum Commitment: 20+ hours per week (up to FT hours if needed)

Role Summary
The Accounts Officer will be working in a small team and assisting in accounts receivable functions. The primary responsibilities will be providing accounts assistance to clients and collection of payment for outstanding invoices.
Key Duties
You will be assisting the team in the following tasks:
- Creating invoices
- Collection of current and overdue invoice payments
- Credit control
- Answering phone calls related to accounts
- Negotiating invoice payment timeframes
- Liaise with NDIS and Home Care Package providers for product and service payments
- General administration duties
Key Criteria
To be seriously considered for this role, we are looking for someone who matches the following criteria:
- Excellent computer skills
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role (preferably accounts receivable)
- Experience with Xero (experience with MYOB is also acceptable but our company uses Xero)
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong administrative and time management skills
- Demonstrated experience in customer service
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work both within a team and independently
- Police Clearance Certificate (this will be required before commencing work)
