About the role

Sunfam are looking for an experienced Irrigation Team Leader to drive the infield delivery of key irrigations projects in the Bundaberg region on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will be a capable people leader, able to effectively manage installation and labour costs and have sound experience in the delivery of irrigation projects.

Responsibilities:

The Team Leader - Irrigation will be responsible for:

• Managing the team’s resources to meet installation targets in a safe, cost effective manner

• Taking accountability for installation and maintenance of water transfer and application equipment.

• Assess job requirements and complete or appropriately delegate tasks to appropriate team members

• Keeping direct contact with clients to keep them advised of job progress & assess customer satisfaction.

• Prioritising the wellbeing and safety of the team

About you:

Our ideal Team Leader - Irrigation will possess:

• Demonstrated experience in the installation of commercial & domestic irrigation projects (focus on installation planning, strategic thinking and innovation)

• Sound leadership competency; able to manage and unite teams

• Experience efficiently managing costs in an irrigation or construction environment

• Strong communication and people skills

• Valid drivers license (MR desirable)

• Excavator Ticket (desirable)
